Kandara Education Run  is founded on a firm foundation  of  work that started a longtime ago. For a long time, the Alumni Associations of Kirunguru Primary School, Kandara Primary School, Gakarara Primary School, among others, have been sponsoring needy students and working with Secondary School in the area for to improve the education standards. 

The Kandara Education Run provides a platform to consolidate the gains achieved so far and synergize the works of these associations in order to scale to the next level.
