Indemnity, Terms and Conditions

1. I confirm that I am competent and or authorized to sign registration forms (electronic or otherwise) and agree to the terms and conditions hereto.
2. I acknowledge that although all precautions have been taken by the organizing body (Kandara Education CBO) to ensure the safety of all participants, there may be inherent risks in participating in the Kandara Education Run (‘The Event’) and related activities.
3. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and waive all claims against any parties involved in organizing, sponsoring, or managing the event, including officials, volunteers, and agents.
4. I indemnify and hold harmless all parties against any liability, claims, damages, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Event, including but not limited to injury, illness, loss, or damage to property.
5. By accepting this agreement, I consent for any minors under my care to be bound by these terms and further indemnify the parties accordingly.
6. I acknowledge that the Event may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, war, riots, pandemics, or government restrictions, and that no refunds may be issued in such cases.
7. I undertake to comply with all applicable health and safety guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
8. I consent to the use of my name, images, or videos for promotional purposes related to this and future events.
9. I confirm that I understand this disclaimer and that by agreeing, I waive certain legal rights. I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to seek independent advice before accepting these terms.
